    Hi

I bought a new case for my aging motherboard. The case features 2 front USB connectors. My motherboard doesn't have USB headers to connect the sockets to, so i bought a Belkin USB 2.0 card with an internal USB socket. Unfortunately, the PCI card does not have headers either!

What i need now is a cable that connects USB A male to some pin headers for the 2 front sockets. Does such a cable or adapter exist?!

Headers on PCI cards for front expansion ports is pretty rare, and what sabashuali suggested is probably your best bet.

    thanks for the reply.

I am looking for a cable just like that but with one exception. I need a cable with 2 sets of pin headers, not one.

I get the impression i might have to get my soldering iron out!

The internal USB headers are 5-pins each, but are usually grouped into two headers in one grouping. This is likely for making it easier to use...but I digress.

I wouldn't solder just yet, but I would spring for those adapters as they look to be exactly what you need, not to mention much less of a hassle to install.
