First of all welcome to the forum. Seems to it's not a bad collection, but a little modification can gives a better performance. For you selected CPU this main board is better. And also for your main board and memory this CPU is great. Another best combination is, Main Boargd CPU
I was under the impression that the E6550 is a much better processor then the E64000, just shy of E6600. I don't mind spending more money on the mobo if it means it will work well.
yes, you right. But comparing those two L2 cache is doubled in E6400 than in E6550, compatible with the FSB speed. That's why I recommended it.
