    Looks good.

The only real thing you might want to consider is having a second hard drive for additional storage. 74GB is nothing to sneeze at, but with games taking up multiple GB of space these days, it's not a bad move to toss in a larger hard drive for storage.

Crucial's Ballistix line of DDR2 is rated pretty high, so if you're overclocking, you may want to check into those. Otherwise, the Corsair is a good move.

Thanks for the input Big B.
I currently only have a 80gb HD, and i barely use up half.
I don't store mp3's\videos on my PC, and usually only have a few pc games installed at a time.
Also, I won't be overclocking (too worried). =)

Is there any chance that there may be a compadibility issue with these different parts? (as I always hear that certain memory does not perform well on some boards, etc.)

I can't see any problems, that's a pretty sound system you've got there.
The only thing I would change myself is the hard drive, I'd add another for data, and keep the smaller one for the windows installation.
However, as you said this isn't necessary for you.

Let us know how it performs when you have it.

If you're not overclocking, the stock heatsink will be fine. Core 2's run quite a bit cooler than the Pentium 4 and D's did, so as long as you have decent airflow through the case, the stock cooler will be more than enough.

That's the only thing I can really think of to add. The parts are compatible, so it shouldn't be an issue.

I was thinking that the stock fan would be fine, but the Thermaltake has a distinct look, and i thought it would just jazz the look of things =)

And my Chassis is the Cooler Master - CM Stacker 830 Evolution which should give it good airflow. I am also in love with the look of this case =)

Maybe wait a bit for geforce 8800 gts. Reports seem to say they will retail for the same price as geforce 7950gx2's and I would rather go for a dx10 card.

Else than that system looks great.
