Now, I've thought it over and I've decided to scrap the 150GB WD Raptor® X Clear Cover SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm) and go for two 74GB WD Raptor® SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm) and have RAID 0. I'll use one for all my gaming, music etc. And the other will have Vista, or maybe XP on.

Thoughts and suggestions? I might liquid cool my PC when I get the extra money, any suggestions on what I should cool? E.G. CPU, etc? And What sort of cooling system I should go for aswell.

Looks brilliant, my guess is that it would run anything you throw at it at this day on highest settings without breaking a sweat

Looks good.

Personally i'm not into striping my hdd's, too much risk. But two Raptors zero'd should see a nice increase when loading.

A GTX will handle any current DX9 game at upto and including a resolution of 1920x1200 but if you're gaming that high i'd consider going for a faster core2. No point going Ultra, huge price increase for the additional performance over the GTX.

I'd consider a different hsf and get an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, marvellous piece of kit.
