Hi, I'm looking into buying the new Philips amBX Kits as they have dropped in price considerably, only £170 from Play.com for the premium kit. Looking to play games such as CoD4, CS, wc3, WoW etc. Just wondering if anyone has tried them before or can give me any feedback on them.
I've got an amBX premium kit and its really good. The speakers are loud as hell and are great if you just wanna play music or movies through them and the sound quality is very good. The lights even outside of programs coded to work with them, via the phillips program to control them, are really pretty and useful at lighting at room. The fans are also useful just in the way ordinary fans are and i know i have them on neigh on all the time when im not playing a game. Inside a game, ambx adds a lot to many different games. It's not compatible with every game out there unfortunately, but most of the games that have come out in the last 5 years that are worth playing are well catered for. Call of Duty 4 is my favourite of the games that have come out recently and i loved the game before i got it, love it even more afterwards. amBX will add something to your games that wasn't there before. Mine was money very well spent, i know i've spent so much time fiddling around with it and playing games with it its more than paid its money back in entertainment value.
