Hey there, recently I purchased a new keyboard and when I connect it to my computer it installed correctly but when I type the characters appears more than I type for example if I type 'a' the result would be 'aaa'.
Now I replaced the keyboard with another unit but the problem continues.please help
    Os windows 8.1 64bit

Even I checked my usb port by attaching different usb devices and they all work fine..

You've tried the obvious by trying a second keyboard with the same result suggesting it is probably not the keyboard. Have you looked at the auto key repeat setting in Windows settings? There was one in W7 and is still there in W10 but I have never used W8. Good luck.
