just got a new mother board D945GCZ... I already had the processor E2160 which I plugged into it with no prob... but after connecting the main power and Ram Sticks I turned it on... the The processor heatsink fab was working but the monitor was giving a no signal message! checked all the cooections and tried to start with only1 ram stick , no use! I don't get any beeps, I also tried 2 boot only with power 2 board + processor + ram no HD no use :( any idea where am I going wrong? btw I have 2 1GB DDR2 sticks... and have a Acer flat panel that uses a VGA connection

Sounds like a graphics card problem. Are you connecting your screen via a onboard VGA or a card?

If its a card and its using up a PCI-e slot, try switching the card to another slot. It could be that your PCI-e slot is faulty.

Hm, then it could be the cable connecting your monitor and your card. It could also be your onboard is faulty. In the mean time, i would try and borrow a cable and a GFX card from a friend and try them on your computer.

If you do and there is still a problem, try resetting your CMOS settings by taking out the little 3V battery on your motherboard.
