Hey guys, I'm planning on making a new build from scratch. I will say I'm a gamer, and that's exactly pretty much what this PC will be used for, with some word procession on the side for schoolwork. Any different suggestions or findings of better deals regarding the following hardware I plan on purchasing would be greatly appreciated. Budget's around $800-900. Welcome to HWF This is a nice rig you're planning there. However I would recommend to get a Geforce 9 series (9800) if it fits into your budget. If not, then the 8800 GTS should do just fine And a word of advice; because you got 4 GB of RAM, it's recommended to use Windows Vista x64 (64-bit) as Operating System, because the 32-bit version of Vista and Windows XP only recognise/use 2-3 GB of the current RAM.
