Ok guys, i really need your help on this one:

I used to be really deep into the hardware world and all, but lately i stopped following trends and buying new components for my gaming PC. So after all this its time for a major upgrade, and I mean MAJOR - New inner components + monitor + cooling an' all that shit, Ill even need a new power supply and case :)

So, to start off my current specs (I ran EVEREST so theres a shitload of info for you guys :)):

CPU:

I also have some crappy speakers/mic, mouse and keyboard - but thats really not important, now what i need from you guys is a few suggestions on possible rig configurations, i can pick out a teh sexah case for myself and perhaps a decent monitor aswell but i need ya guys to supply me with details of what other components should go in (Mobo, CPU, GPU, power supply, cooling (Id like some new technology for this (water cooling or something)) If someone can pull this id really appreciate it :). Remeber this is a strictly media/gaming rig :)
Cheers, and thanks ahead my friends!

BTW i forgot to list my budget limit - im getting this financed through my dad but ill be able to pitch in whatever he doesnt add up to :) (I have around 450$ +550 euro = 885 euro = around 1200$) - so you can count on atleast a 1500$ budget) MUHAHAHA!!!! :):)

I think all those are fine for gaming, unless CPU speed. Since you worried about new technologies move to Intel Desktop Board D975XBX2 with Intel core 2 CPU. That main board comes with 975X Express Chipset, most suitable for gaming.

Check this out

Further higher performance upgrade your memory at least to 1GB, you should do that with 975X chipset.

All other components are fine.
