New Side Panel

Hi, I have the Enermax FS710 tower which is based off the Chenming ATX-601AE model. The case came with a very basic side panel, and I would like to replace it with one with a window and a hole for an 80 or preferabbly 92mm fan, however, I can't find any that specifically say they are compatable with the case.

I'm not to keen on doing case mods just yet, but I would guss if you can't find any, you gona have get a custom one made from a case mod company? I'm sure someelse here can help you more than I can!
 
Look for a side panel that works with the Antec SX1040 series. Directron sells them with an 80mm fan hole pre-cut for around $25. I haven't purchesed from them before, but they've got a very solid reputation.

I had a suspicion that's what it was before I searched around.
 
If you've never cut metal at all, you'd be wise to practice a little, but otherwise, cutting your own hole is pretty cheap. I got my acrylic at lowes diy center, and they can cut it down to the dimensions you need. If you go this way and also plan to paint it, cut first, paint 2nd. Doing it yourself can be rewarding, but don't just dive right in. I'm looking into different glues and such to keep my windows in place that I've done myself, since epoxy is not doing the job. I've also been warned not to use super glue, since it can fog the acrylic.
 
Superglue does fog the acrylic. First off, the BEST soloution is DOUBLE SIDED 3M inductrial tape. Its what ive used 4 times. Best shit, and you hav more than one chance to put the sucker on there :)
 
It's the easiet thign to use, i'll show you pics of how well mine stuck. I didnt use the 3M one this time, I used ones to mount big mirrors, its super cheap, you'lle need 2 rolls if you have 1 big window, and a top window, or one roll if you have a side window only. You need only 3-4 contacts, and it holds like a BUGGER! I'm telling you. Its the best since The invention of the microchip :) I can hold a full cup of water on my top window with the adhesive, and its got a fan mounted in the plexi. Thats how well it sticks. I mean its meant to hold up 25 pound mirrors, it ownz.
