just go to google's main page & click "Images" & type a description of the pics (e.g. "sexy") you want & click "Search" & pages & pages of pics will come upKaran said:i dont knw wat u search in the Google so u come across these pics..lol

dunno, but i do remember that one of the borders was transparent when image was .xcf, i think it was created when i saved as .jpg (as .jpg does not support transparency)[ot]beyond that, it's like you said (can't find it, but it was something like this)[/ot]Karan said:lol...seems like u hv learned quite a bit... Can u tell me..plz how u add that Back ground in the back of a pic?
BTW: i need more playtime with GIMP[ot]if i remember anymore, i'll let you know[/ot]Edit: and make sure all layers are merged down, as layers can be not included in the conversion to .jpgKaran said:i didn't used to remember how to do stuff in GIMP, so i couldn't recreate a sig i'd made
I'm using Corel Graphics Suite X3 for graphical designs, but I might try GIMP later :)i need more playtime with GIMP
well, you won't regret switching to GIMP[ot]the more i use GIMP the more i love it[/ot]BTW: this is my 1st serious sig[ot]ive had sig pics before but they were crap, that's why i assumed you thought it was crap here, sorry[/ot]RH said:I'm using Corel Grfx X3 for graphical designs, but I might try GIMP later :)

I'll start making my own by using my creative side. But thanks anyway :)please give me a brief description of what you want or some images you would like

Edit: i think "flatten image" was also used[ot]does flatten image do the same thing as merge down ?[/ot]
Edit: the original .xcf also has a shadow border inside the transparency, i don't know how i did that[ot]i try to recreate it[/ot]

i've remembered, i resized the pic (smaller) and created a new sig pic (500 X 200) & did a few stuff to the blank transparency and pasted the pic (smaller sig) into the transparency) and saved it as .jpg (i think)donkey said:i don't know how i did that
:good:Karan said:Wow! i completely understood how u have created this signature
well it appears to merge all layers[ot]but i could be wrong[/ot]Karan said:never used flatten, so i dont knw wat it does...
so i was right (well, nearly)GIMP manual "Flatten Image" causes all of the layers of the image to be merged into a single layer with no alpha channel, with the same appearance as the full image viewed from the top. If there are any areas with transparency all the way through to the bottom of the layer stack, they are mixed with the image's background color. This operation is performed as part of the process of exporting an image, if you save it in a format that does not support layers.
can't wait to see itKaran said:Yes we need creative people for making our boat... We would love to see your creativity
