the writing is dark blue with blending options used on it , i will get rid of all the blending op[tions, then change the color of the writing to maybe black or red, then add blending options, then i think it will look alot better, thanks for the suggestions though, i will keep them in mind. someone on this forum called chris, made me another siggy too, so i may resize my specs siggy and add the other ones , you should see the one chris made me, it's ace, its icy kind of sig, i would show you it, but i am at college at the moment. on my sig i made, i think that the border ( red and white gradient with blending options), i think it looks too tranparent with that texture on, so i will have to change that too, i might make a couple of versions of the siggy i made, and then post them, and find out which one is the best, i think i will put the red and white and blue one on, then a red and white and green one, and also a blue, green and white one, but i might stick with my current one, i think it looks cool, and for some wierd reason,it reminds me of far cry :s
That's nice work, the text doesn't really bother me and the effect is very creative. I'm not one to show off my specs as they aren't the greatest and you can see them in the my computer tab anyway but when it's done up this nicely I can only commend the practice.
i have done a little modification with this one, i have also got it in different colors by deleating certain alpha layers, which one do you think is the best?
Personally I prefer the original, the contrast is nicer in my opinion and I just like the color scheme and friendly appearance. I like silver but I think it could use a little more color, or at least a gradient perhaps. Try adding different complimentary colors or fooling around with photoFilters if you're running PhotoShop CS1 or later.
i am thinking of changing the red and white gradient border to somthing like blue and white to match, or maybe purple and red, or purple and blue
