Hello all, first of all thanks for viewing my thread!

I recently upgraded my pc, I did a few upgrades at once and then finished with a video card.

    Onto the specs!

Phenom 2 x4 955 at stock speeds with a coolermaster hyper 212 plus.

    4 gigs of adata xpg gaming ram 1333 ddr3 2 x 2gb

    Gigabyte 880gm-ud2h motherboard

Seagate 500gb hdd sata 2 and WD green 500gb sata 2

    Optical drive

    Lg 22x

    PSU

    Coolermaster R2 460 PSAR-J3

    Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Elite 460 RS-460-PSAR-J3 460W ATX12V V2.31 Power Supply

Video card. Upgraded from a 9600gt to a sapphire hd 6850

    My problems!!

I play crossfire a lot, on my 9600gt everything would run flawlessly at 150+ frames, close to 200 sometimes, no stuttering no skipped frames, just perfect, fitted in my new hd 6850 updated drivers, loaded crossfire and it was laggy ( wtf came to my mind ). Changed graphics to performance and this improved a bit but was still not as good as my old and trustworthy 9600gt. BFBC2 worked a lot better but still gave me sluggish performance with high settings. Fallout 3 as well, stuterring graphics when i turn around and move, with ultra high... funny thing, when I first load up with the 9600gt it automatically set the performance to high, with the 6850 it was set to low...

I play all my games at 1024 x 768, could that be the problem? I know its overkill and the card can output way better frames at higher resolutions but i like my crt and im sticking to it.

What could I possibly be doing wrong here? suggestions anyone? if you need any info Just ask, I want to solve this before I sell the damn rig and go back to my pentium D.

    Thanks!
