Hi, I was making sure my memory was in properly because i had a problem with it so i took the memory out 2 512 mb sticks and put them back in how they were. However i started my computer up and i had a blank screen on my monitor saying *No Signal* Why has this suddenly came up isit something to do with my memory not been put back in properly or have i maybe accidently pulled a cable out of the computer??

Thanx

It could be a lot of things. If you were taking out and replacing your RAM you may simply have knocked something loose. Do your fans come on? Is your hard-drive starting up? Does the power led come on? If so, it *might* be a problem with your RAM but also make sure that your graphics card isn't loose and that the monitor itself is plugged in correctly.

I get that alot. CHeck the wire is firmly in you gfx card and that its connected to your monitor.

I tryed to replace the ram again but this time the power just went off in about 5 seconds of turning it on. Now im really lost on what is happening at the moment, have i maybe put the memory in the wrong way or what?? The fans are working fine and everything and ive checked the wire was firmly in but its defiantly to do with the system because i connected my old comp system with using the same screen.

You should only be able to put the ram in one way.

When you did the replacement did you ground yourself? It almost sounds like something shorted out when you did the replacement.

What do you mean by ground myself?. I cannot see anything pulled out that shouldnt have but then again i cannot be so sure!

Either touching the metal part of your case, or wearing a grounding bracelet to keep static electricity from your damaging the pc's components.
