Whenever I try to play a swf document in firefox theres no sound, although the animation is fine. I've tried installing the flashplayer plugin manually for firefox and konqueror but still nothing.

I tried using the rpm, and also doing a manual install to the plugins directory but still no sound. I've looked around and some people say this is a problem with KDE.

    Whoops, my bad!

Do you have a flash editor that you try the swf's in?

I dunno about that, I'm running KDE and Flash works fine for me. Never had any problems with sound in Flash. Could you open Firefox and type
    Code:
    about:plugins
in the address bar, then post the results? If they're long, you might want to save/zip the file before posting it.

    Thanks,

Its ok now for some reason. My problems get fixed a lot but I don't know how. Annoying. Anyway maybe just the plugin wasn't working. I can now view: www.endofworld.net in Linux.
