    im not sure if this is where this topic should go if not here just move it

    ok i was at my friends house and he has cable i would have it but its not out ot my house yet so he has 10mbps and i have a 15mbps dsl i i trying something at his house and wasnt sure if it was going to work

    so i brought my dsl over and hooked it up to his computer and we had a total of 25mbps yea and the downloads where FAST
    wish i had my computer over there with that so i could of use some

    Howdid you come up with the total? Doesn't he have cable?

    Yeah cable and DSL are totally different, you can't use a DSL modem on a Cable line and you can't use a Cable modem on a DSL line.

    he had his cable modem and my dsl modem on at the same time
