Hi all... please, help me on this one. I really need to know how much memory is in one GeForce 8700M GT and how much memory when it's dual - in SLI. Some keep saying, that the maximum is 2x256MB, some are saying, that it's 2x512MB. So how much is it on maximum? I need it to be 2x512MB ofcourse, but I can't find out what's the true capacity of these graphics cards in SLI. I need an expert's opinion on this one, because I finally want to know, how much memory is in one GeForce 8700M GT and how much memory when it's in SLI... the maximum number. Here: GeForce 8700M - it says, that the maximum memory is 512MB, but I don't really know if it means for single or in SLI mode. Please, help someone! Thank you.
nVidia uses the maximum in a single-card configuration. How much is used per card is determined by the laptop manufacturer.
