Nvidia has been feeling it lately, their powerhouse approach to graphics just hasn't really cut with his current generation of cards. With the unlocking of the 4870 and 4850, they are only suppose to increase in performance, and with the immanent release of the 4870X2, it only spells bad for Nvidia. However, they have something up there sleeve, which is still under wraps, so we'll just have to wait. On that, one would only guess it to be something like a GTX 280 GX2 or something, but who knows. On that, i think Nvidia just missed the trend this time around. AMD made a card that performs really well, is power efficient, and doesn't cost a boat load, where as Nvidia, has a card that still has the best performance out there, but is very expensive, and also uses a lot of power. Hopefully AMD will improve their drivers, otherwise these cards are just a piece of plastic crap in the PC...
Yes, i have heard there are problems with drivers, on that, i have heard a lot of them are coming from people using Beta drivers, which is obviously not a good idea.
