A lot of people have been hoping for the release of the new line of Nvidia cards such as the 9800GX2 and 9800GTX to be a huge increase in performance. Well the 9800GX2 has been out for a month now and the new 9800GTX has just been launched in the UK. There has been some testing of the 9800GTX and unfortunately a lot of people have complained about it because it gives no performance boost from a 8800GTX the benchmarks are very similar the only difference is that the 9800GTX has better circuitry and therefore better at over clocking. So the conclusion is no point of upgrading from a 8800GTX to a 9800GTX a lot of people say stick with the 8 series because it's cheaper, if you can afford the 9800GX2 then that will surely give you some satisfaction but the 9800GTX and to be expected the 9800GT will not satisfy those who already own a 8 series card :(

The 9800GX2 is a brilliant card in terms of performance but it's to dam expensive it retails around £400 in UK
