    hey peepz,

ive scoured the internet and couldn't find any info on this issue. I recently purchased a nx-8060 atx 2.2 silent PSU and I want it to work with my asus k8v se deluxe mobo. The problem is, most psu's i get have an additional 4 pin atx 12v connecter that you have to connect near the top of the mobo. The nx-8060 doesn't seem to have that, or am I doing something wrong. The nx-8060 comes with the normal 20pin atx for the motherboard plus an additional 4 pin connected to the 20pin atx wire maybe for 24pin mobo support? The nx-8060 also come with 2 4-pin connectors designated as P2 and 1 more additional 4-pin connector designated as P8. These are for additional CPU's im assuming.

If i plug one of the 4-pin P2 connectors into my mobo's 4-pin atx12v port, the motherboard doesnt work. Is there another extention on the nx-8060 i have to use? Am i missing something thats supposed to come with the psu? Do i have to buy a 4-pin extension wire and connect it to the extra 4-pin connector thats connected to the 20-pin mobo power connector?

    spec:
    socket 775
    athlon 64 1.8
    nvidia 6600 agp
    pc2100 1gb
thats all u need to know :)

    Please help me here.

    yes it is

i think the problem is that my PSU is for intel boards only. I cant be positive because I don't have an intel board to test it with. I'm getting an intel this week so I'll c how it goes.
