I have 2 OCZ 400MHZ 256 R2 memory in my computer running in dual channel. I would like to know what is a safe and good timing for this kind of memory. Motherboard: p4c800-e deluxe CPU- 2.8 intel Please help thanks for the knowledge
Unfortunately unless anyone else has the exact memory configuration as you then we will not be able to accurately give you an example or suggestion.. However as per overclocking increase each timing by a very small percentage / amount and test your system fully (stress tests e.g: 3dmark03 on loop with FAH running) for a an hour or so.. once it becomes either unstable or does not run you should reduce them.. Although the other way of giving you a head start instead of spending hours doing it.. is to search google for your memory, i suggest getting your memory / make / model and do this on google: "OCZ 256mb R2 +Timings -purchase" or "OCZ 256mb R2 +Overclock -purchase" the + will only bring up results with timings listed in the website, and -purchase will make sure that the majority of retailer websites selling your memory will not appear. Hope this helps.
