Hi, I've been having ever increasing issues with hanging/crashing programs due to an unknown error. The error pops up when I use Microsoft office, though at work these are the programs I spend the majority of my time on and I can't say for certain if it's only office that this issue is associated with. When I save a document (sometimes) I get this error message "trying to connect to C:documentsan... (assuming it's the path to the desktop where the docs are being saved." The program hangs and eventually crashes unless I cancel the process myself. I have googled this phrase and I don't get any hits. Is this a hardware issue? More specifically a hard disk issue? If this is an error within office, I would assume there would be many, many google hits considering the vast number of people using office. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
