I was just wondering if MS Office 2007 ( Microsoft Office Home+Student 2007 (Word Excel PowerPoint OneNote) ) can work on more than 1 computer, like on 3 pcs...

No, you can only use it on 1 pc. You'll need to buy additional product keys for other pc's. Only the business versions can be installed on additional pc's with the same product key.

But it doesn't make sense... what does a family do then? pay 200 francs for each copy of office they get??? I might just go and download it illegally... I hope you're wrong...

Yeah in fact, you have to pay licenses for all computers. Businesses can buy license packs (5-pack has 5 licenses and costs 5 times as many as a single license). So famillies need to buy a single license for every pc or buy a family license (not sure if that is used with Microsoft products).

ok so, if I needed 3 legal office keys what should I do? Buy 3 office home packs?

It would be best to ask that in a computer store. These guys know more about licensing.

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 edition, allows you to install it on 3 computers.
