I know i have slow machines running F@H but an Intel Celeron 1.3Ghz has completed 2 WU's in the past week and i've gained 3 Points!!! 3 POINTS! WTF! Whats that about? I know its in aid of science and all, but the least they could do is give me some points! For the first WU - i got no points AT ALL! and for the 2nd WU i got 3 Points.. Ridiculous.
I think the faster you finish a WU the more points you get, so if it took a few days to do one WU you'd get less points, 1 to 3 seems very low. Have you selected to have WU's which give a certain time to finish?
I'm just using default settings, i havn't changed the advanced settings.. *Edit could someone please recommend the best settings to use with such a computer?
Right you'll all laught, but i've been having alook via Remote Desktop from work at my home network.. Looked at all the logs, and it wasn't my 1.3Ghz It was my sisters computer a: Pentium III 1Ghz 128MB SD 133 - has no deadlines set but hasn't been on for god knows how long atleast before xmas! hence.. i got 2 WU's that had been waiting to upload.. and had taken about 3 months
