Im flipping out right now so if I don't make much sense im sorry.. My computer was on and the cat knocked out the power cord. Now when I try to start my computer it just restarts over and over again after the bios screen. I tried keeping the computer off for about 5 minutes with the power supply button off, and Ive also tried to reset the bios, nothing! I have a Abit KN8-SLI Please can someone tell me what happend? I just bought all these parts, computer has been running for a week now this happens, omg!
i think its mostly because of the damaged RAM.. last year i came across the same problem.. i was having two RAM's.. i checked running with one.. and i found the damaged one.. i tried the damaged RAM in another system and it also showed the same problem.. so check the RAM.. if u have more than one, any one of them might have got damaged.. if the above doesnt work, try checking ur display card..
unlikely, but possible remove all cables connection & cards (remembering where they came from) then reconnect everything (ensuring a good connection) and try it again for future reference, what is your OS
