Onboard AND Card

If i could use both my GRAPHIC display card and onboard display for dual screen then surely there's a way that i could do the same for SOUND too right? If it's possible please share your knowledge.:cool:

Windows chooses a device to output to... and outputs the audio there. However, I have noticed that if I'm already playing a song and then change the audio out, the existing sounds continue playing as they were, but any new applications play out the other selected sound device.
 
If I am talking on Skype and listening to music or watching tv both work at the same time. I use SoundMax. The card is onboard.
 
He's not talking about two programs outputting sound at the same time. He's talking about outputting each program to a different soundcard.

One program can't output to both cards at the same time. When you load a program, though, Windows will play its sound through the current selected device. If you change the output device in Windows, the program already open will output to the one it was assigned when it started and any other programs loaded afterward will play through the new card.
