Just for the heck of it I looked at some GeForce 6800GT's to see the prices (<$300, nice!) but the only thing that looked a little bit unappealing was the fact that most of the $350 GT's had OpenGL 2.0 and the sub $300 ones had 1.5, is that really any big deal? Like, if I was playing Doom3 would I notice a difference in quality or performance if I had GL 2.0? Thanks, because otherwise those cards look really enticing.

its kinda like comparing DX8 to 9, eventually games that will run on 2.0 will require the power of 2.0 on my sites i only found a 20$ dif. between 6800GTs with 1.5 , 2.0 on pci-e

Thanks dude, what site's that? Yeah, unfortunately I was looking at AGP 8x when it read sub $300, pci-e costs at least $340.
