I'm having a few annoying problems with OO. The first is specific to Mandriva, second is for both Mandriva and Ubuntu packages of OO.

When I installed OO on Mandriva (v 2.0) the theme is horrible. I can start it, but the menus are rather large, and a darkish grey. In Ubuntu it uses the GTK theme, clearlooks so it fits in with the rest of the system. How do I change the theme it uses on Mandriva?

Second, I like to have my documents maximised. buttons visible behind it annoy me. But when I maximise, the document in OO Writer is stuck on the left hand side. The horizontal scroll bar is "full" and so won't move and it looks weird on one side of the screen. Any suggestions?

Use the following commands as root to add the SeerOfSouls repository to your Mandriva system:
    Code:
    urpmi.addmedia SoS-2006 http://seerofsouls.com/mandriva/2006/i586/2006/ with hdlist.cz

    urpmi.addmedia SoS-Xchat http://seerofsouls.com/mandriva/2006/i586/Xchat/ with hdlist.cz

    urpmi.addmedia SoS-Xfce http://seerofsouls.com/mandriva/2006/i586/Xfce/ with hdlist.cz
Then you should be able to install OOo 2.0.2 which is specifically built for Mandriva through your package manager. If you already downloaded and installed OOo from the website, remove it first.

Thanks AT, the new OO did the trick with the menus.
