What are the best, stable settings people have tried?

Each card is slightly different, and you won't really get anything out of overclocking an old car such as that. Unless you run the original UT game etc.

It's really not as bad as that, lol. I can run stuff like UT2004, and HL2 with it, and I also play COD on it with mostly high settings. If it helps, I have the Gigabyte-manufactured version of the card.

Looking back at my old posts here, I used to get 215 out of the ram and 330 out of the gpu. Though if I remember right I eventually went down to 210 on the ram.

My scores in 3dmark 2001 were around 3800 and overclocked they were touching on 5000. Sometimes a little over 5k. On one occasion I got 6215 but that had artifacts in the test. I only had a p4 2ghz @ 2.5 with pc100 then too.

Extra cooling makes no difference the the card. I had a celeron hsf on the a while.

Now ive got ddr440 and I used to play BF1942 @1024*768*16 no probs, with about 30fps.
I only play party poker now so dont bother with overclocking anymore.
