if its a factory brand computer, the clock speed will change to keep the same amount sometimes if done throught the bios

well thats good about the hidden settings! , but either the CPU multipliers are locked or there is a jumper hiding on your mobo, but who wants to play hide and seek anyways?

well, i see more than one jumper on the mobo, should i just change one at a time and see what happens, but could i destroy my mobo doing that?

i see 2 jumpers under the cmoss battary, but thats about it.
i have changed both jumpers, and they dont let me change cpu speed, so is there another way?

its starting to sound like a lost cause and the worst that could happen to your mobo is a reset bios.

i know, so i know its not those 2 jumpers, so is there anything else to get the multiplyer to actually work?, i can see the multiplyer, when i save bios, the multiplyer i set is still in there, its just the cpu clock frequency has not changed.
