I have a Connect3D X800 Pro. I noticed in the specs it has a single 400Mhz ramdac as opposed to dual ramdac on the ATI regular version. Does this mean anything? Did I screw myself by buying the cheaper non ATI brand? I just downloaded ATI Tool. Does anyone know the sweet spot where I can overclock this card and still operate without problems? I'm currently running 475/450 core/memory default. Finally, is it worth it to flash my BIOS to unlock the 4 extra pipes, making this card run like an X800 XT PE? I noticed there's quite a few steps to that procedure and I want to know if it's worth the risk. Thanks!
i dont think its worth flashing you grafix card, you could tottaly kill it, so unless you dont mind risking death with it, then do go ahead and flash it. try using rivia tuner to overclock it, it will overclock by 2mhz increments automatically with riva tuner, but will stop when it find your max o/c
