OverHeated Sata Disk???

    Hello, can you tell me why when I touch my 2 Sata disks in RAID connection they literally burn?
    Is this Reasonable?

    Further more I had an 80GB hard disk connected to the system and some problems occured during copying of some files. When I discennented the disk it was burning...

    do you mean it feels very hot when you touch them? HDD do tend to get got, usually the 30 C mark.

    You can damage them for sure, especially if you touch the logic board.

    Hmmm, I think I fixed it, I repositioned them and put them further from each other. Now they are a lot cooler(I touched the upper metal cover)...
