Ok, i have a Gigabyte GA-EX58 Extreme ddr3 motherboard, i built a pc with it a while ago, but earlier today it caught fire, the fire wasn't actually the motherboard it was the hard disc, where the sata power connection is it has been up in flames and melted. i have replaced this hard disc and i have replaces the psu as this was the cause of the fire, the fire only lasted a few seconds and extinguished as soon as the mains power was unplugged. Anyway, i have rebuilt the machine and the power button on the motherboard lights, when i push the button the fans do not start and the monitor doesn't light. next to the ram slots there are 2 lights lighting, the top one is green and the bottom one is orange. The top light is the 4th light from the top of the row and the bottom light is the 5th light from the top. I have posted the links to the pictures i took of the lights Pc Specs: GA-EX58 Extreme motherboard 12gb corsair ddr3 ram 2.93 ghz quad core i7 processor 1050w alpha power psu (Replacement for the same model) Standard cpu fan 3x zotac gtx260 graphics cards (using only one for testing purposes) 1tb western digital caviar green hard disk (replacement for 500gb hitachi deskstar which burned) http://i43.tinypic.com/4gyuf.jpg - Close up of lights http://i39.tinypic.com/21ajoef.jpg - Slightly zoomed out image of the whole setup
