wye can my son down load some pc games and plat them and down load others which he can not play untill he down load divx even though its all ready on my computer can any one help me please only he brought quiet a lot of pc games and he can only play some my computer is vista home basic so it not that old
Please rewrite your quesiton into something a little more legible. I think you said that your son installed some games on your computer, but cannot play some of them. Is that correct? Sounds like you are getting Directx issues. Have you got the latest Directx 10.0 installed since you're running vista? What game is he trying to play? Have you got the hardware to support that game (enough RAM, good enough video card, fast enough processor?) It would be best if you would go ahead and list off your hardware on your computer, or you can run a dxdiag and let us know what that lists your hardware as. Just hit your start button, then go to run. Type in "dxdiag" without the quotation marks. Copy the hardware information off the front screen then click on the display tab and copy that information over. So paste all of that information into a post, then tell us what games your son is trying to play.
