Hi all, I recently upgraded my ram to pc 3200 400MHZ DDR,from that some strange things have happened. My pc has about 2 in 5 sucessful boots. My system properties are showing AMD athlon 2000+,166GHZ,512 ram.I think my proper clock speed should be 2083 GHZ.I have not messed with these settings.
thanks in advance for your help. :x:

Ok, check the values of your FSB (front side bus) set it as high as it will allow (you can do this from the BIOS)

BUT do not set it above 400 Mhz!

I think you mean 2083 Mhz or 2.083 Ghz :)

The AXP 2600+ T-Bred core CPU should run at a default of 2.13Ghz on a 333Mhz FSB!
The AXP 2800+ Barton runs at 2.083Ghz.
