Currently i'm facing one prob is that my pc restarts automatically after few minutes, i can't understand what exactly to do for that and i already scan my whole hard disk that show no viruses found..what reason behind that?....
Check all cooling fans inside the PC,Mainly check Processor fan.. It sounds like your processor is getting to hot, and then shuts down..
Is there a BSOD before the computer restarts or any other errors? Any other differences between normal operation of your computer and just before the reboot? Usually when a computer overheats, it shuts down instead of restarting. However, it is worth looking out for. Some things to check: Power on your computer and go into the BIOS (Usually F1 F2 or delete, but varies depending on your make and model of computer) and there should be an option like "PC Health Status" or "Hardware Monitoring". If you enter this menu option, it should tell you what tempurature your CPU is running at. Normal operating temps are around 30-40 Celcius. Much more and it is likely overheating If you try number 1 on the list and it is running very hot, open up your computer and check for dust build ups, especially around fans and in heat syncs. You can blow this out with compressed air. I would suggest you dont use a vacuum. While the side panel is off, check for bulging or leaking capacitors (battery shaped objects on the motherboard) If none of this has helped the problem, download Memtest, burn it to disc and check for bad RAM. Usually bad RAM would cause the computer to BSOD before restarting though. One other thing you can do to see if it is a hardware problem or a software problem, is to boot to the BIOS and just let the computer run. See if it does not restart while in this boot option. Alternatively, you can download a Linux OS that runs off of a cd so you can still surf the net, etc (Knoppix, Ubuntu) and run it for a while to see if it reboots.
Thanks for your precious suggestions and different options. i was check all option that your mention and as per as your posts there is prob of heating and mismatch of temps, so now i have set as default and now my machine is working fine without automatic restart....thanks you so much both of you for your info's....
