Hi Everyone, I Hope To God Someone Can Help Me. My Pc Stopped Working The Other Week For No Apparent Reason. When Power Is Turned On The Cpu Fan Starts But Nothing Else, In Fact As Soon As The Power Cord Is Plugged In The Cpu Fan Starts. My It Friend Tolded Me It Was My Motherboard So I Bought A New One, Asrock Prescott 800mhzddr 400 P4vm800 (this Was The Upgraded Same Board As I Had, Everything Swopped Over, I Still Had The Same Problem !!, Then Mate Said It Was The Processor So I Bought A New One, Intel Celeron D Processor 315 2.26ghz 533 Mhz Fsb 256 Kb L2 Cache. Still I Had The Same Problem, Now My Mate Is Stumped, I Have Tested The Dvd Rom Drive, Hard Drive, Floppy, All Are Ok. Canyone Help Me, Oh By The Way, I Have 256 Mb Ram 60 Gig Hard Drive. Any Help Offered Is Appreciated
i think i remember the same problem, turn the computer off then remove and reinsert the graphics card, if that doesn't work remove and reinsert the RAM, possibly in a different slot, if it still doesn't work try a BIOS reset then disable power management in the BIOS till you get it sorted
