PCI 2.1 Graphics cards support PCI 2.0 slot?

i want to buy a new graphic card but i confused. there is a new gen of graphics cards with a PCI 2.1 bus standard and i want one of this but
my pci slot is 2.0 bus standard. is it work with the new card?

It will work just fine... there is very little difference between the pcie 2.0 and 2.1 interface. The graphics card will be backwards compatible. There are very few mobos out there that are even using 2.1.
 
I join the "will work" party.

Same thing applied to the AGP 8x, which supported AGP 4x.
