PCI-E Power Connector

    Hi.

    I was just looking at a review of a Gainward Bliss 640mb Golden Sample 8800GTS, and It came with a PCI-E to 2 Molex connector cable, does this mean I would not have to use my PCI-E cable and I could use 2 Molex plugs instead?

    yeah, look at the image

    it is actually a power adapter, so, i guess you can either connect it directly to the PSU or plug the adapter into 2 molex plugs (they look like molex sockets in the image)[ot]i would think the adapter was intended to connect to 2 separate molex plugs on 2 separate power output strings (wires)[/ot]

    Edit: BTW: i think the power adapter is for people that haven't upgraded to ATX 2.2 yet (as the ATX 2.0 doesn't have an integrated grfx card power plug)
