Picture on LCD ?

On games and normal applications my picture is crystal clear, but in movies the backrounds are kinda fuzzy, is this just an attribute of LCDs.

which software are u using to view these movies?ususally the software will have brightness/contrast options..adjust the brightness/contrast to see how best it views..in windows media player..i think its the View menu >> settings >> video settings
this lets u adjust the hue, saturation, brightness, and contrast levels..if ur games are playing smoothly then i dont think u have a LCD problem..maybe the movie disc has something to do with it...

12ms should be fast enough, but also remember that you don't notice ghosting in fast paced games, but in movies and games like age of empires ghosting is much more noticable!

i am not sure about powerdvd but when u view the movie,u can right click on the movie n i think the options or preferences tab should be there..
