I have a laptop, a desktop, and a wireless router.
My Question is that, how can i play multiplayer games between my laptop and desktop via wireless router.
My laptop is connected to the router via WIFI.
My desktop is connected to the router via its one of LAN port.
My wireless router is TP-LINK TL-WR741ND

Just fire up any game and go to Multiplayer. Choose a computer that will Host a game (will be the server). Usually through a option called Create game and then join that game from your laptop. Done.

Some games that I play like that w/ my friends: Operation Flashpoint: Dargon Rising, Battlefield 2, ArmaA II...

if you have two Windows XP machines, then you can use this tutorial to get you started.

If you have two windows 7 machines, use the homegroup - that's the best way to do things on a home LAN, in my opinion.
