Hi, Usually a video problem is because of either a video card, video cable, or a monitor. Do you have an expansion card for a video card or is your video part of the motherboard? Try reseating the video cable if you have not done so alread on both ends. Also, many monitors have a button to switch between an analog signal and a digital one. If you are using a vga cable but the monitor got switched to digital input, it will not find a signal. If you have another monitor, I would try swapping it with the one you have now to see if that solves the problem. Also try swapping the video cable. If that does not solve the problem, then it would more likely be a video card issue and if not that, then a system board issue. When you boot your computer, is it making any beeping noises? If you are getting one long beep followed by 2 short ones, it means the video card has failed or is not installed according to the motherboard manual for your computer(or it can also mean one of the RAM sticks is not working correctly. Something else you can try as well is to reseat all of your RAM securely in the ram slots as well as the video card (if it is not an onboard -by that I mean its part of the motherboard) to see if anything was not seated correctly.
