Helllooo Everyone ................ Actually i have a problem with the ram ............. My pc has 2.4 Ghz processor and 256 Mb DDR-266 Mhz
ram .......... I bought a new Ram which has 1 Gb DDR-333 Mhz of
memory ........... Ok now the problem is when i start my PC with new ram installed it starts normally till the boot screen but after the boot screen is done when logon screen has to come then i cant see the logon screen ........... the screen just goes blank ............ When I tried to boot my PC suddenly a message came (THIS VERSION OF WINDOWS DOES NOT SUPPORT MEMORY LESS THAN 64 MB) ..........
What can be the problem ?

IS IT BECAUSE MY PC DOES NOT SUPPORT THE RAM ? or THERES A PROBLEM IN THE RAM ? or I HAVE TO MAKE SOME CHANGES IN THE BIOS

    PLEASE REPLY

We need full specifications of your pc.

Motherboard? Type of RAM? Graphics card? Type of cpu? And what version of windows are you running now?

Try changing RAM positions. Maybe this can help quickly. BIOS update sometimes can help.

And by the way, why did you buy 333 mhz? Yes, it should be no problem for system. But still if you dont want to have problems when installing it (just in case) try searching the same type of RAM and same speeds of it.

Have you looked in bios to see what speeds are set for your ram? Maybe one is set out of specification. Did you check to see if the correct amount of ram is recognised?
