Im having a problem with a new PSU I just got in. Its a Artic Power 600W.
My computer is a DELL Vostro 200 with
    - 320GB HDD
    - 8300GS Turbocache
    - 1x CD/DVD Drive
    - (Has) 300W PSU
    - 2GB DDR2 RAM
    - Mini Tower

I got this new PSU so that I could upgrade my graphics card to an 8800GT.

Basically I got the new PSU today and tried to put it in. It went in fine, slightly longer than the other so it went over the clips but it screwed in fine. I then put the 24 (20+4) Pin connector into the motherboard, fitted perfectly then i put the +12V 4 Pin Power Connector in. That went in fine. I then came to a problem, the previous powersupply had got 6, 4 Pin Peripheral Power Connectors and this only had one. I then found out that both my HDD and my CD/DVD drive required this type of pin and only having one meant either no Disk drive or No hard drive. The Artic Power Psu did come with 2, Serial ATA Connectors wich I dont need. I was wondering if there was such a thing as a converter to Change the Serial ATA connector to the 4 Pin Peripheral Power Connector so that I wouldent have to go out and buy another PSU. Im guess that its DELL that use the 4 Pin instead of the Serial ATA to make there PC's more unique or something because my other computer uses a Serial ATA connector for both the HDD and the CD/DVD drive.

Please if anyone has any suggestions it would be very very helpfull.

Those 4-pin connectors are molex, and you should be able to find a Y-splitter that turns one connection into two for a few bucks.
