hdd problems

please help i have recently installed a 40gb hard drive as a slave to a 6gb master my 6gb master as now died and my computer will not find 40gb as master does anyone no of any tricks please help getting stressed :confused:

Take the drive out and change the jumper to the Master position.

It sounds like you had your OS installed on your 6GB HDD, and now you want to boot to your 40GB. Is this correct?

Try swapping data cables positions as this worked for me when my HD wouldn't be detected.

yes its correct the hdd wont be detected by swopping cables or jumpers and when it is detected it wont format with 95 boot disk

Does your BIOS not detect it or does 95 not detect?
