Hey there!
When I run the I-Tunes plug in during music playback.. obviously the FPS is next to nothing something in the range of 2-3 but at full screen mode the FPS is hitting 50-60Fps, which is slightly annoying. During the low FPS timings the HDD light is constantly flickering and the CPU usage is hitting 60%, during full screen the HDD light hardly flickers and the CPU usage drops drastically.
Another problem which I think might be related is during NFS: Most Wanted playing the game starts to pause and continue and not running smoothly sometimes even shutting down automatically, going back into XP.
Could this problem be due to my Display card not being up to it, bearing in mind that my laptop doesn't have any of the issues my desktop is having in displaying the visualizations.
I have been itching to replace the current Gigabyte Card with a GE-Force 8600GT/S purely to get dual screen DVI outputs that I want to utilize for multi-screen gaming and Photo editing and also to increase screen resolution as my current display is at it maximum resolution, though it is also at my current screens maximum resolution.
