I have a MSI k8n sli platinum board.
Its been ages since i looked at it so im a bit rusty with the exact specs since im in uni half the time and i use my laptop when im down there.

The problem i have is that the graphics card seems to not turn on when i boot up the comp. I finished the build in nov 05. Since then i have gone through 2 graphics cards. The first was an american bfg 6800gt sli. It took the comp 3-10 trys to boot it up for the graphics card to finally turn on.
Now with my xfx geforce 7600gt, im starting to get the same problem, i replaced the card last summer. It isnt as bad as the last time but ever so often it seems that it takes 1-4 boots for the g-card to finally turn on and for the monitor to show me something.

Any ideas? could it be the mb?

The g-cards were connected via pci-express.

    Thanks

Did you connect the graphics card to the power supply? Modern graphics cards require this.
