Well I'm doing Network Admin, MCSA and MCDST. This takes 2 years to complete. Then I am thinking about starting my own computer business or studying even further (if I can make it)
Well I'm currently studying at a sixth form college, doing computing, physics, maths and economics (which i'm dropping). Next September, I'll be going to university, probably Manchester if I get the grades.
Will you be joining as an officer then after your stint in the Royal Military College? Not a bad job at all if thats your sort of thing. Its something I regret not doing myself. I went to the careers office literally the day we left school but never went through with it in the end. I was looking at the Royal Marines and later after id done some uni work the Army Officers. Ive other things in life to do now so will probably never join the regulars. Do it while you have the time! Ive done quite a few courses all for fun really. Maths and Photography A levels, City and Guilds in PC repair and maintenance, MOCN in Archaeology and Basic Archaeological Techniques and 4 Open Univeristy qualifications...Certificate Natural Sciences, Certificate Astronomy and Physical Science, a Diploma in Physical Science and im half way through a Diploma in Maths. Ive no intention on using any of them, im only happy doing oddjobs and groundswork.
I studied Maths, Physics, ICT and Chemistry (Which I dropepd after 1 year) after Secondary school (I studied them at School and College) I'm now doing a BSc (Hons) in Internet Computing. After that I hope to do a Masters (if I don't get a first) and then a Ph.D (although I think if I get a first I can do a Ph.D straight away...). It's a long way off but that's what I'd love to do. Eventually I'd love to get into web development on a large scale, if that fails I'd still really love to set up my own web development / design agency...
I did a BSc hons in computer studies at liverpool after secondary school, I'm now starting up a computer consultancy in a rural area
