Hi people. I'm having a problem with PowerPoint. I know how to add a sound file to a slide. But how the heck do you add a sound file to the whole presentation .? I've been pulling my hair for 2 days now . I'll really appreciate if someone could tell me how to add a sound file so that it plays throughout the whole slide show. Thanks gang.
I've only used powerpoint twice, but I tried to learn as much as I could about it as I can. If you'll give me two days I will be able to get you a positive answer. because I in two days I have a class and we're working on power point presentations. I'm pretty sure you can only attatch sound files to a slide or they are triggered by a click.
You know, I received a presentation by e-mail, and it played a sound file throughout the whole slide show. It was a song. So, I know it is possible to apply a single sound/music file to a presentation. Anyways, thanks ninja, and see you in 2 days I guess.
It's simple, insert your sound object then right click and press custom animation. The animation bar will appear. Click the drop down arrow next to ur sound file and click "Effect Options" simple from there :good: ( I want some rep points for this :chk: )
I hate those assistants too . Ok, back to the topic. I finally figured out how to apply the sound file to the whole presentation. You just right-click on the sound you inserted, then select "custom animation". When the task pane appears, just double-click on the sound file inside the task pane. A window should pop up. Just go to the "stop playing" section and choose the "after_ slides", and enter the number of slides you have in your presentation. That will make the sound file play all the way to the end of the slide show. :agree: Oh yeah. Anyways guys, thanks for your help.
