I have a problem with what i think is the power on my CPU. Everytime i turm on the computer it nearly reaches or does reach the login menu then turns itself off. After a few atempts it will not turn itself off (no specific amount of times, different everytime). It also does this if you restart the computer. The machine has been totally stripped and formated, but this has not resolved the problem. Nobody seem to know what this problem is and has never heard of it. Hope someone can help!
Could also be temperature problems, bad RAM, power surges... Try: Memtest86 to check for bad RAM SpeedFan to check temperatures. Could also be that something isn't seated correctly, although I doubt it would even POST with that problem... Could you give us some system specs to help as well please...
